Day 1: Arrival at Leh

We will receive and assist you at Leh Airport. Transfer you to the Hotel to rest and acclimatize.

Day 2: Leh & Indus Valley

Today we explore the main town of Ladakh and villages around it in including Leh palace, Shanti Stupa, Shey, Thikse, Stok Palace and Hemis monastery. We use the day to warm up to our bikes.

Day 3: Lamayuru, Moonland, Alchi and Likir

Today we will explore some very unique landscapes of the Himalayan region. A scenic ride through some fine rocky faces to visit the Lamayuru Monastery and the village with a moonlike landscape. On our way back we will visit Alchi and Likir Monasteries. We ride back to the hotel by late afternoon. Another day to warm up to the bikes and acclimatize for the long expedition ahead. We are now ready to explore other regions of Ladakh, the largest district of India.

Day 4: Ride across Khardung la to Nubra Valley

Today we will ride across the world's highest motorable pass - Khardungla (18,380ft). We cross over through this pass into the beautiful Nubra Valley through some deep gorges. We will stay overnight in a typical high altitude Ladakhi village in Nubra valley - Hunder or Sumur. Witness the rustic lifestyle of people in these most rugged terrains of the world.

Day 5: Explore Nubra Valley and ride back to Leh

After a good breakfast, we ride out to explore the beautiful Nubra Valley. We explore Hunder, Diskit monastery and the small villages around it. Hundar is a white sand desert home to double humped Bactrian camels. At noon we ride back to Leh via Khardungla. If the route is good and the pass is open - we may take a different route to Leh via the less visited pass of Wari la.

Day 6: Ride to Pangong Tso Lake

Today we ride through some high altitude passes to reach the beautiful Pangong Tso/lake. The route is beautiful with vast open landscape with beautiful grazing grounds. The lake is enchanting with the most beautiful hues of blue. It's a lake that extends deep into China with only one-third within India. We camp by the lake at night.

Day 7: Ride back to Leh

Now it's time to return back to Leh for a good rejuvination. You can spend the time exploring Leh market or just have an easy relaxed evening.

Day 8: Leh to Tsomoriri Lake (220km)

Today we ride to another beautiful Himalayan lake, Tsomoriri Lake. This Lake is 19 km long and 7 km wide lake at the altitude of 4595m is located 215 km southern of the Leh. The lake is the only breeding ground outside of China for one of the most endangered cranes, the Black-necked crane, Ruddy Shelduck, Common Redshank, Brown headed gull, Lesser sand plover and Great crested Grebe and the sole breeding ground for bar-headed geese in India. The area also forms a nesting ground for the main nesting site for the Bar Headed Geese and the Brown Headed Gull. We quietly and consciously enjoy the beauty of nature without disturbing the birds and then spend time in the Korzok village.

Day 9: Tsomoriri to Leh

Now it's time to return back to Leh for your last day in Ladakh. You can spend the time exploring Leh market or just have an easy relaxed evening looking back at your time spent in this wonderful part of the world.

Day 10: Fly to Delhi
