SkyWalker is an adventure travel company that specializes in organizing customized, bespoke adventure expeditions and tours in the Indian Himalayas. From our humble beginnings of operating in just a handful and on only a few trek routes in Ladakh (India), our operations over the last twenty five years have come to span the summits and valleys of the Karokoram Range, the Zanskar Range and the Ladakh Range. Our team of expert guides and liaison tirelessly explore these high mountains and we regularly add new routes and expeditions to our repertoire.
Over the last decade, we have witnessed the growth of Himalayan tourism and exploration at a pace that is encouraging yet saddening given the unprecedented damage inflicted upon the fragile Himalayan ecosystem. We believe that a part of the solution lies in our hands as adventure seekers and the key is to develop empathy for these inspirational mountains. We try to ensure this with a strong focus on adopting sustainable measures in our adventures, understanding traditional knowledge and ensuring conservation.
The name 'SkyWalker' is a poetic element symbolic of the closeness to the sky while walking on high Himalayan summits.
